Vintage 1982 Cartier Tank Must Vermeil - Mechanical Movement

Vintage ladies' Cartier Must Tank Vermeil, with dark red dial, matching leather strap and classic blue cabochon crown. Solid 925 silver, plated with 20 microns 18ct gold. A mythical piece from the French luxury brand.

The Cartier Tank is over 100 years old and is still one of the most recognisable watch designs ever made. There really is a Cartier Tank to suit everyone's tastes. Here we have a beautiful, traditional ladies' size piece with a gorgeous burgundy, onyx-type dial, complete with the trademark blue cabochon winding crown. This piece is a vintage, original, mechanical, manual winding model so no battery here!

Purchased in 1982.

Comes with the red Cartier pouch, the original warranty card and papers, as well as a 1993 service certificate.

Serial number engraved on the back.

The watch is in excellent cosmetic condition, except for very minor, almost invisible signs of wear. The glass and dial are immaculate. It was lightly polished and cleaned. The Cartier leather strap looks like it was only worn a couple of times, it probably is a later replacement. Please see the pictures.

The watch was monitored and kept good time over the course of a day.
